2. 15 Descriptive Tests will be provided with model answers. And evaluation will be done with 8 days of attempt. And 12 Objective tests will be given with explanation. MCQ test will be conducted in our MCQ test portal in lawxpertsmv.in website and Android App only/Iphone App.
Descriptive Test - You have write the tests, take pictures with your smartphone of your answer-sheet and send it as a single PDF.
3. Notes can be opened in online through Laptop/Desktop/Mobile/tablets in our app. It cannot be taken print out.
4. Course fee is non-transferable and non-refundable due to the nature of the services provided.
5. ID proof with residential proof should be submitted to facilitate the registration process.
Syllabus – Gujarat State Judicial Service Civil Judge Preliminary Exam
(I) For Preliminary Examination (Elimination Test). The Preliminary Exam (Elimination Test) will be a Multiple Choice Questions based test of 100 Marks & 2 Hours’ duration, based on the Syllabus given below.
There will be Negative Marking of 0.33 Mark for each Wrong / Multiple Answer

(2) The Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973
(3) The Indian Evidence Act, 1872
(4) The Gujarat Prohibition Act, 1949 (Old Bombay Prohibition Act)
(5) The Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (Only Chapter XVII)
Part – B
(6) The Code of Civil Procedure, 1908
(7) The Limitation Act, 1963
(8) The Indian Contract Act, 1872
(9) The Constitution of India – [Part-III – Fundamental Rights (Articles 12 to 35A) & Part-IVA – Fundamental Duties]
Part – C
General Knowledge, English Language, Test of Reasoning,
Numerical & Mental Ability and Basics of Computer Applications.
The language of 75 Questions in the Preliminary Examination, will be English, whereas the remaining 25 Questions will be in Gujarati.
The candidates who secure 50% and above Marks in the Preliminary Examination (Elimination Test), shall be eligible for being called for the Main Written Examination. However, the Marks obtained in Preliminary Examination (Elimination Test), shall not be taken into consideration for preparing the Final Merit of the candidates.
Syllabus for the Gujarat Civil Judge/ Magistrate Exam – Written Examination (Main) :
The Main Written Examination shall consist of Three Papers, based on the Syllabus given below :
Paper- I : (CRIMINAL) [Marks : 75, Duration : 02½ Hours]
(1) The Indian Penal Code, 1860
(2) The Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973
(3) The Indian Evidence Act, 1872
(4) The Probation of Offenders’ Act, 1958
(5) The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015
(6) The Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005
(7) The Gujarat Prevention of Gambling Act, 1887
(8) The Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956
(9) Pre-conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act, 1994
(10) The Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881(Only Ch.XVII)
(11) The Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969
Paper – II : (CIVIL) [Marks : 75, Duration : 02½ Hours]
(1) The Code of Civil Procedure, 1908
(2) The Limitation Act, 1963
(3) The Indian Contract Act, 1872
(4) The Indian Partnership Act, 1932
(5) The Specific Relief Act, 1963

Paper – III : (GUJARATI LANGUAGE) [Marks : 50, Duration : 01½ Hours]
Language of Question Paper-I & Question Paper-II of Main Written Examination shall be English. Answers to Questions of Papers I & II of Main Written Examination may be given either in English or in Gujarati, if not instructed otherwise.
